Biography

Dreux Pierre Frédéric was born on November 26, 1985, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is of Louisiana Creole descent. There isn’t any information regarding his parents and his education. All that is known is that he has a sister named Brooke and a brother named Chez.

In 2011, Lil’ Fizz was also accused of owning a marijuana store by the State of California. Rumors have been swirling that he managed the Little Amsterdam dispensary in West Hollywood for almost a year and a half. However, he was ordered to close the shop and had to pay $1.1 million to the State of California.

Career

Lil’ Fizz was into music and rapping from a very young age and wanted to become a rap singer. Then, he moved to LA to pursue his dreams. In 1998, he co-founded an R&B group, B2K. Other members of the band were Chris Stokes, J-Boog and Raz-B.

The debut album of B2K was released in 2002 and it became an instant success. This album was titled B2K and ranked 1st on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and 2nd on the Billboard 200 chart. Then, their second album, Pandemonium!, was released that same year and reached top charts.

One of the songs from this album, titled Bump, Bump, Bump, ranked 1st on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This song featured P. Diddy. That same year one more album was released, called Santa Hooked Me Up. The band also worked on soundtracks for a movie, titled You Got Served, in which he also played a part.

However, B2K split in 2004 and Lil’ Fizz started his solo career. His debut solo album was released in 2007 and was titled Payday. Then, several years later, he partnered with J-Boog to start a record label together with Damuer H. Leffridge, who was his long-time friend and business manager.

The new record label was named Popular Entertainment. They released an album titled Night Life under this record label. Lil’ Fizz was also part of the VH1’s reality show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood and appeared in 8 episodes of The War at Home series.
